The Sangeet ceremony took place on 12th July, in the midst of close family and friends, who celebrated by dancing on many Bollywood numbers. Shweta's Parvarrish co-star Barkha Sengupta, who plays her younger sister in the serial, performed a dance number.
The wedding and sangeet ceremonies is said to be held in Mumbai, whereas the venue for the reception has been chosen as Bangalore. Wedding ceremony took place yesterday, and the reception post wedding is set to be held in Bangalore on 17th July.
