Mumbai, Jan. 30 -- Filmmaker Vipul Shah has put to rest all speculations about the impending sequel to the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Namaste London (2007).
Shah says that he is in the final stage of locking the cast and crew of the project. "I would like to announce the project only when it's ready with directors and actors. It will take another two weeks to lock the project. We hope they turn out to be fantastic for the audience and us," says Shah. Apart from developing this project, Shah is also scouting for fresh scriptwriters on Talenthouse, an online portal for aspiring writers.
"This is a perfect platform for me to see what young writers want to say and scrutinise their work, since it's not always possible to meet every creative person who wants to approach us with a script. And if someone has written something really fantastic, then I get a script to work on and they get an opportunity to showcase their talent," says Shah, the maker of Force (2011) and Action Replayy (2010).
Shah also admits that it is not with the intention of charity that is he is considering giving a chance to new talent, "There is a benefit for me also. This is a platform that forms a perfect marriage between writers and filmmakers," says Shah.
Prod him on whether he plans to incorporate the ideas of new scriptwriters on his current projects and he says, "I hope to get a superb script start soon. Otherwise, I might like someone's style of writing and root him into writing something else that we are developing," adding, "When you see young talent you don't want to restrict them into a specific genre.
