Akshay Kumar Turns Down Superhero Role?

Considering his dashing personality and martial arts skills, one would think that Akshay Kumar would be the perfect actor to play a superhero on the silver screens. However, it seems that the 'Khiladi' doesn't agree with this.

A little birdie claims that Akki, as he is fondly known, was recently offered a superhero flick but the actor turned down the role. It seems that the martial artist-turned-actor has no intentions of donning a mask and a cape to fight bad guys like his contemporaries Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan (who played superheroes in 'Krrish' and 'RA.One' respectively).
Akshay was last seen playing the role of a Haryanvi goon in Anthony D'Souza's 'Boss', which was the Bollywood remake of South hit 'Pokkiri Raja'.
