Bhoot Returns had a poor first day collecting around 1.35-1.40 crore nett on its first day.
The film stars Manisha Koirala, J. D. Chakravarthy, Madhu Shalini and Alayana Sharma in the lead roles. The film is a sequel to the 2003 film Bhoot directed by Varma himself.With the film Bhoot, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) introduced a new age horror genre to Indian cinema. The film was a huge hit. And, now, RGV is all set with the sequel Bhoot Returns and presents the first look of the film. The filmmaker is also touted to be countering Raaz 3 with his film since Vikram Bhatt's film too falls under the same genre.
